Portrait from the Fashion Market

Not so long ago in my city took place Fashion Market. It's a kind of measure when a lot of designers and hand-made crafters gather in one big area and sell their goods. At this time I was shooting look book of one designer as well as all the goods. But as I was there with studio lighting equipment, I also took some portraits. Here is one of them

Some more pictures from look book. A stylist composed the look from the clothes and accessories, which could be purchased at the Market.

The 3-rd photo is my favorite one The girl looks so foxy (if it's possible to say so, meaning - she looks like a fox)

Yes, that's my favourite too. A really engaging portrait. The others are nice also but are much more about the clothes (as was intended) but that third one certainly has much more about it.

And as Pete says the other shots are great shots of the clothes!
That certainly is an unusual pose in 3!

It was my task to shot the clothes, so I was concentrating on it But my rule says "a day without a portrait is spoiled day"

Actually, this picture was not taken during fashion market, but this dresses were presented on it. And I was invited to do a photo session for this designer.

Nice Aleks; I like the subtle isolation from the background. The only thing that distracts me slightly is the non vertical lines of the building behind. But that is as an image rather than as a shot of the clothing etc.

Your usual processing?

Рете, I've missed the small angle of the buildings I think I should correct the line of the horizon. What about the processing, so it was a correction of darks and shadows in Lightroom, than in photoshop a little blur on the background (because my lens is 70-210/4 and depth of field is not so big).
I gave the pictures to the customer with real natural colors, but for myself and for my blog I toned them in Alien Skin Exposure 4. I tried to add some movie-style.

I like the styling very much Aleks and it does have a movie style to it. Muting the background makes quite a difference and is very nice and subtle.
