Taken on Sunday after dropping our Series III Land Rover off near Eastbourne for a service. We drove into Bexhill again and there was a really odd art installation in the De la Warr pavilion. I managed to get a couple of images...

Oooh... yes. I remember seeing something about the pottery area of Stoke. I thought about dropping in on my way up to Yorkshire the other year, but I didn't have enough time

What a fabulous pair of shots Lesley. Not only a super shot of a potter at work but a wonderful, almost abstract shot. 'Knife Gang Jailed' (surely that should be Gaoled! especially with the prison up in Westham!) and the tools add a really interesting element to the shot. I shall be back down in Bexhill later next month and will almost certainly pop in to the De La Warr.

nice pics Lesley, superb. One thing troubles me. Behind me right now where I sit, I have a wheel and kiln. The troubling thing is this, just how clean it is where they are working, a total contrast to here..

Sadly I think it's "jailed" in all the papers these days, but I know what you mean. If the potter is still there... watch out! She had something on the wheel picking up the sound and it was being amplified behind inside other pots. The screeching really got to me...
