It is indeed but from Spring till Autumn the main areas are completely overrun by tourists. Mind as soon as you go even one or two streets off the main areas it can be deserted. I'm there at least once a year but usually early April. This year was early but the weather was warm - normally it would be cold. Maybe I will have to go in the winter some time. This last winter it was -40ºC at night, even colder than Berlin! The 6 weeks later they had 25ºC!!

I stayed away from Wenceslas Square when I went, stayed in the old town square and it was way down on the tourist quotient.. I also found that really interesting places like museums and galleries were empty :)

At least the flyover does;t dominate the skyline! :D

The PP looks a little HDR for you Pete - very nice :)

I went to Czech Republic in November once and it was bloody cold, cant remember too much else! Never seen the South Central part of Prague. With the contrasts of old traditional architecture and modern (ugly) developments, visually it seems quite a striking place.
