Praying for Rescue?

The wall detail shot I mention in http://www.realphotographersforum.com/general/11018-mining-gap.html.

Th geometry is still bugging me with this shot and I will probably continue to play with the framing but here it is anyway.

Very interesting, but I can see your problem. Will you 'cheat' and pull it into straight lines, clean angles? I quite like its un-rule-iness.

I might. The main problem I think is the illusion of non-straightness caused by the bottom of the frame of the shutters. I suspect I'll go back to the raw file and start again. I started editing this on the train from Prague and it was a bit bumpy and so hard to get right.

A slightly heavier border might help to contain it too.

I like the composition and its message, including the title, Pete. :)

Me thinks you worry too much about the " non-straightness" thing. I like it the way it is...but the left side would also make a nice panel all by it self.
