Can anyone help....

Just joined, and have uploaded a profile pic.

It shows if i look at my profile, but does not show up when I comment on a thread????

Yep - as Adam mentioned there are two places to put a photo, the profile pic, which you only see when you view someone's profile, and then the Avatar - which shows up on every post

Sounds like you need to add the image to your Avatar

Ok, so how do I add an avatar pic then?

Andrew, look at the very top of this page, and you will see a little icon of a cog and wheel. Click that. Now look down the left hand column for the words Edit Avatar. And Bob's your uncle.

Andrew it seems you have set a profile pic but not an Avatar pic, as rob says, small cogs top right then click edit avatar
Note: The maximum size of your custom avatar image is 150 by 150 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

you can upload direct from computer of via a external URL
