Quickie - Olympus XA3 - First Shots

I'll be doing a blog, as Hamish suggested, but can't stop myself uploading a couple as they come out of the camera. XP2 400. I didn't always get the framing right, but it works. The shots are on the grainy side, but otherwise the exposure seems pretty good. Processed in one hour at Boots.

I'm impressed with the camera! After all, it takes shots with gusto...

Ha, yes, it does look like they have been spotted. A funny couple of guys, they were moving fast. The camera was quick to respond, and I never had to worry about focus.

How is the lens when you hold it up to the light Rob, looks slightly like it needs a bit of a wipe.
Though the slight glow to the light areas could be just how that lens renders
(Not a criticism)

You might be right, Hamish. It looks aged a bit. I'll get some lens cleaner and a Brillo pad

Try some Vim and steel wool, Rob. It will work wonders on the lens.

The XA3 is a great wee camera. Looks like yours is working just fine. Three bonnie foties tae start as well.
