I like it very much, for several reasons. One is the sharpness of the scene, in contrast with the motion blur of the main subject. The second is the repetitive colour scheme: whites, blues, oker-yellows.... And third is the mystery in the photo. Who is he? Is it a he? How does he look like?

So, great shot, all in all!

Yes Douglas, the township with its buildings are all from 1600 about and mostly all buildings in Norway are built of timber. Our own house as well as all the others are of timber.
