What a good idea, who said that rubbish was making our beaches look bad? The door really contracts with the sand and the PP has bought the texture out well I think. I definitely prefer the first with the darker tones and the repeating framing (the image edges and the door edge). The actual thin black frame of the second works well too, did it not go well on the first image?

Very nice Julian and I like the PP. I like the standing version but it would be nice to tame the highligths in thee top left if possible. What do you think. And I would be tempted to centre the sign left to right in the second (but keep it at that vertical position). Again, what do you think?

Pete yes I did realise at the time I tried to fade a bit to create depth, with a tiny bit more 3D . it helped but did not work , gave in, it was getting late. I have several other version taken from different perspectives and will look in on them again to see if it works better.
