The colouring and grain come courtesy of Exposure 5. Lots of control over the grain, but I find it hard staring at the screen, trying to determine what looks natural. What do you think?​

Before I read the bit that asks, "what I think", I was untroubled by two takes on red flowers. I'll attempt at least , by saying that maybe the bleed of the red into other parts of the image, is maybe making it to flat and uniform. Still like the jug or in this case the vase. With the red bleeding out, it take the contrast away, I do prefer the last image mainly for the composition a fine image Rob.

I did not notice the grain Rob. Still cannot even looking closely.

Interesting but I find that the coolish cast conflicts with the colouring of the vase too much. I prefer the first image as I like the density of the tones. That grain is subtle!

Thanks, Pete. I agree about the colour problems in the second, but I'm entirely happy with the first.
