Revamped Imaging Suite

At last the area is complete and today we installed the Devere copy stand to replicate the setup in Germany. Here it is shown set up with continuous lighting (Flo-Light panels) although we can also use mono-blocks on the rails or the Nikon Macro-flash units, ring-flash, tungsten fibre optics or flash fibre optics (from the Elinchrom unit). Can also site the Tessovar on here as well although I will probably put a desk in to accommodate that a couple of microscopes. Just waiting for the last of the storage shelves to arrive then it will be fully sorted.

I can barely piece together what it is you're saying Pete, although I'm sure it makes a lot of sense. All I can say is,...Cool set-up!

Little bit jealous Pete........ just a little bit. :p

Either that blad is a mini one or this is a big rig!

At some point Pete would you do us an bit of a write up of how this is all used with example photos etc (as in pm) im quite fascinated but all of this!

loving the Flo-Light panels Pete - I used to use Red-heads, which had a habit of exploding and showering the copy stand in molten glass!

Hamish, yes, will do. I may get a chance next weekend.

Chris, I know what you mean. We do have another setup in the darkroom that uses tungsten lights. The problem is the heat. It dries the plates up!! I forgot to turn off the Flo-Lite panels yesterday after taking this shot. Two hours later they were barely warm to the touch. And if you are feeling lazy you can adjust them using a remote control!! :)

Remote lighting - sweeeeeet! :D
