River Running

Wow, these are different Julian. And wonderful. Especially the first and last. Stunning. :)

Thanks Pete, the last is my favourite. This is where my photography started, in the river, or stream. I'd spend days walking up and down streams capturing the stream from the source to the sea..
Those photographs got me to art school, sadly I looked for the negatives the other day, it appears they have got thrown out, by accident. I may attempt something similar, although these days
I cannot access the places I used too go.

Stunning, Julian. Your images always look different from everyone else's here, and are recognisably you. Beautiful colour tones and compositions. More power to ye, laddie!

Thank you Rob that is a huge complement for me, coming from someone who's work i enjoy so much. Puffs chest out, before going back into my somber self.

Smashing shots, Julian. So often images of flowing water tend to be milky or frozen. You have captured the in-between in these, such that the water actually looks like how one would see it. Brilliant!

Thank you Brian, I am aware of the milky water , now in possession of a 10 stop ND I cannot promise not to create milky milk. I'll try my hardest to resist.

Wow - that first shot with the wiiiiide format would look stunning on an office wall - just a stunning visual
