I really like that! Really interesting image for some reason ... The bottom part of the lightbulb in the background seems to almost match the profile of the mask in the foreground ... Odd!
it quite like to see a black and white, although I do wonder if taking the colour of the background might make it loose somthing..?

I did try it in b/w but it wasn't quite as effective. might have worked better if there wasn't the character in the dark jacket behind.

As Hamish noted, the parallels between the subject and the background art is really clever - also like the frozen head with the moving arm.

I think the crop cleans things up a little, but then I go back and like the guy's red trousers.

The slightly more open view allows more context. You know that it is a street scene, ragged edges 'n all
