While back I bought a few 3 packs of Lomo color 800 120 when they were on sale super cheap. Considering the price of Portra 800 I thought it was a worthwhile gamble.
I finally loaded some up in my Fuji GS645W and seen how it looks. Overall I like it quite a bit, expected grain for 800 speed film (grainier than Portra for sure, but not in a "ew" way.) It seems to especially like blues, and renders red a bit desaturated.

This was the only shot where I missed focus with the zone focused Fuji. I still like the pic though. This was shot handheld at 1/30th.

The usual test shot at my favorite Taco place - the little lights are great for testing for halation - and there is a tiny amount. Quite a bit less than I have seen with stocks like Cinestill 400D.

Here we can see the reds are a bit desaturated, yet the blues are heavier and seeping into the greens of the tree. I do like the "look" though.

I am happy I bought a bunch of it, it is a nice alternative to Portra 800 when I don't care about increased grain or I want a more "vintage" film look. Unfortunately I checked the price today - and it looks to be $17 a roll. When I bought the 3 packs last year it was only ~$12 a roll.
