Right ......... I bit the bullet.
I got up at 6am and toddled off to the station ............. 7:15 on the train. Which proceeded to stop at every damn backwater there is between Aldershot and Waterloo (and there are loads) just so absolutely no-one could get on or off the train. Next we have engineering works on the line, so we stop for 20 minutes..... and gusss what ??? when we carry on, there is not a single person in a "Hi Vis" vest anywhere in sight............ Finally, 1 hour and 55 minutes after getting on it we arrive at Waterloo. (Big Note to Self: "Let this serve a reminder as to why I don't use Public Transport" Carbon Footprint Be Damned).
......... and it is chucking down.
Next, the tube train to Leicester Square. It's still chucking down and hardly a soul in sight. Picadilly Circus is like a scene from some "End of the World" type films (only blessfully devoid of Tom cruise) .......... and it's still chucking down.
Covent Garden ............. A few miserable souls, me included (I now have a headache, I'm wet and hungry) sheltering from the rain ......... So before I endured an equally ridiculous journey home courtesy of South West Trains. I mustered what little inspiration I had been left and wandered around. Quite frankly, for what I managed I might have just a well left the Lens Cap on............ Anyway, here are three.
A load of Giant Easter Eggs (That the Easter Bunny Laid)
A young fella pretending to be interested in something the girl is showing him. When all he wants to do is take har home for a roll in the sack ............ Ok, so being tired, wet and hungry has made me cynical.
...........and finally. Tube train coming out of a tunnel............ Up the Colour Temp and Saturatiion and "Voila!!!!"
Never Again ................
