Critique Welcomed Ruin in the snow

Ah, I see, you mean the building! It does have a slight sense of foreboding about it doesn't it?

Genuine question for feedback here ... Is this a successful composition ... It feels good to me, the blades of grass in the foreground save the day for me! Am I right? Or is it too much dead space?

To be honest, I'd probably lose about 10-20% from the bottom. I don't mind the dead space, and there appears to be some texture in the snow) but I'd try and lick up the line created between some of the blades of grass and the building if you see what I mean.

I might have cropped tighter to remove some snow at the bottom and also cropped out the cathedral so the wall/ empty archways are the main subject.
