Ruined Archway

Another old one that I have just got round to doing something with. I have slowly (very slowly) been going through my LR catalogue rating the images. It really is like shovelling **** up a hill, every time I come back to it I change my mind on the ratings.

This was taken with a Nikon D3000 and 18-105mm 3.5 lens. Looking back at old photographs I realise that I really like the images it produces and the lens was pretty good for a basic kit lens. The camera was quite small as well and the battery just lasted for ages too.

great shot, love the details on the arch. I really like the many layers. I'm sure Pink Floyd could use this for an album cover. Or maybe it just reminds me of one...

Cheers Brian. It is another old one from Leptis Magna in Libya. Fantastic place and often almost empty and you can pretty much walk where ever you want and if you want to go for a swin in the sea thats OK too. If it was anywhere else you would have to pay a fortune to get in and stay behind the fence where you can't see anything. Must go back there at some point.

Super shot and I really like the processing Paul. The colour contrast in particular works very well I think. And all those frames - who'd have thought?!...
