Big Cisco event down at the convention center this week, so I went along today to register, and just happened to have a camera with me... ;)

I like the tone of the two BW ones a lot, Chris. The dark sky and white architecture suggest infrared. However, I know it's not. What film did you use this time--is it still Velvia for the color shots? ;)

Thanks Brian - #1 used a high DR setting in the Fuji to get the shadow detail, and was processed in Topaz to B&W

#2 was a straight convert in Photoshop using their high contrast red filter B&W conversion - both shots had CPL used on camera

The color shots are all Provia - so less pop, and I might re-do them as Velvia just because you can in the Fuji! :)

Thanks Rob - I immediately thought of Tron when I saw the shadow grid pattern in #1

It is indeed Pete, my mobile bit of Britain :D

the second one with your car is nothing short of brilliant Chris, your use of B&W really is inspiring to me

WOW IMPRESSIVE STUFF

love the treatment of the BW to, and the first shot is a corker, i like the shadows from that curved roof overhang on the floor.

Also like the views of down town SD have you ever took these after dark ??

these colour shots look so clean and fresh, and i am surprised how quite the road look

Great work
