Very nice Brodie. I can see this becoming quite a theme especially if you stick to a consistent 'look and feel'. I think some wider shots would be good as well to put them into context. How about a little photo essay series maybe of local campaigners and their views etc as well?

Brodie, show us more. What is it about King George Ave. that makes it compelling to you to want to keep it as it is. Sounds like a worthy campaign.

Thanks, Chris. I went for the toned down colours and upped contrast because for me, the colours in the originals were too vibrant and lacked any kind of feel of desperation/loss of life. Where as with the pp (to me) they now have a cold, somber feel about them and the signs are more striking giving more of an impact. That's just my thoughts
heres an original..

King George is a very quiet , peaceful part of town. The road is probably about... 1-2km long? then again I could be completely off.. lol. The whole way the road is lined with these beautiful, old trees that have been there for years and years. I remember them being as big as they are now when I was a little kid. Theres also a river running horizontal to the road at the top that is very nice. Many of the houses along this road are on small properties from about 2-6+ acres. The area is appealing to a lot of people bcause it has the feel of living away from townbut still bing close to everything. So to destroy all the trees and expand the road making it a major highway conecting one side of town to the other isn't at al what anyone wants. So a lot of people are putting up a fight aboutit.

The blog and fb page are both great ideas. The problem lately is not having time with school back on. But i'll certainly look into it and see what I can do
