Old kitchen scales. DP3Q.
Part of my recording of light as it falls around the house. Yesterday I went to an exhibition of Scottish women artists from the late 19th century, through to the 1960s, mainly painters. There were some fine photos of 'mundane' kitchen scenes, old black and white images, and I'm embarrassed to say I have forgotten the photographer's name. I've been searching online, but have not found her. Anyway, she has inspired me to keep this up. It started with Paul Strand, and continues with this anonymous Scottish photographer. If I remember her name, I'll edit this post.
These scales were abandoned when we got a digital version, but I'm loathe to throw them out.
