Scannography: Daunce o the Deid Flooers

Dance of the Dead Flowers - scanned this time on my Epson V550 with some dust removal done digitally. Seriously, this scanning method creates a lot of dust. I usually do dust removal manually, but there was so much of it, despite me cleaning the glass before hand, I had to resort to an auto technique. Still, I think it looks good now. I still had to do some manually, but no more than usual. Also did a little bit of black/white levels in Lightroom. I also had a black box over the flowers/petals, whereas last time I used a black cloth which pressed the heads down onto the glass. I like both methods for different reasons.

Definitely more 3 dimensional. I like it.

I wonder what would happen if you lined the sides of the black box in white? It might give a painting with light effect.
