Found on the ground, an ugly leaf skeleton, which transformed under the scanner into this beauty. There's hope for us all in the right light!​
 
Yes I can, but the more black surround you have, the further away the detail becomes. But the original has a lot of black around it. When I get time I'll upload it. Not today, I don't think.
 
Not yet. Might work here. I did that reverse scan with a sheet of acetate over the glass for the first time. I doubt that it had an influence on the outcome. The glass needs protection.
 
Cheers Dave and RJ. It's fun taking a withered leaf from the garden, scanning it, and seeing these golden treasures appearing on screen - a kind of alchemy! Couldn't be easier to do.
