Shot this with the Cheap As Chips camera (Konica Autoreflex TC) and Kodak Plus X film.

Brilliance. Superb. A wonderful image Brian. Stunning. Need more Cheap Chips camera shots.

Thank you, Julian. By the way, "Cheap as Chips" was a contest put on last year by Hamish. (Buy a cheap camera and film and enter 3 images from said camera and film.) It was a lot of fun until the winner was announced. (Dodkin! Grrrrr!;)) Thanks again, Julian.

The wave just about to break infront of the two people HCB would have said is decisive moment.
Capturing it in analogue is a proper DM.
In digital we could have waited for quite a few more waves and hence lost that DM feeling (which on the whole digital has done away with).
BRAVO  i just appreciate the everything about it ... gentle elegance.

I think the whole thing was faked - you can clearly see clouds and water, and we all know the Moon has no atmosphere!

Nice one Brian - but we're not fooled! :D :D :D

LOL. Well Chris,...I can think of no one better qualified than you to speak about atmospheric conditions in celestial objects. :p

Thanks Chris! ;)

Wow that's really nice. After viewing a lot of your photos I have finally decided start using film. I have my doubts that I can actually process it. There is just something really, um...well, tactile about the photos you don't see with digital. And I agree with Ahmad on the DM. I think the worst thing about digital cameras is that little screen on the back.

PS- Where is Sadie? :)

That is a high compliment Steve and I am very flattered.

You can do it, Steve. It just takes a wee bit of practice getting the film onto the reels; the rest is easy. I'm looking forward to seeing your film pictures.

I can add nothing to what has already be said other than to say that I love the shot also. The timing, composition, soft tones and the line from corner to couple to breaking wave and person (?) in the water. Superb. :)
Many thanks, Pete. (And yes,...it's a person in the water. A surfer sitting on his board waiting for the next wave. Thanks again, Pete.)
