Is it possible to search for posts I've made (I searched for EF-S and couldn't find that thread) and the search engine doesn't seem to return posts I've made?

One way would be to look at the started threads and posts in your profile.

I can see the posts from your link (thanks ) but I can't see a "My activity" link when I look at my profile

The search on the site is a bit crap ... I quite often just use google and add realphotographersforum to the search term
