Critique Welcomed Self-portrait With Sadie

Wow, I don't know what it is about this photo.... But wow!

I think he is actually supervising an abduction @Beth Anthony. Sadie can't bear to look!

Love the lighting and mystery here Brian. Back in your Crewdson phase! :)
Well, I did stage this one a little more elaborately than I normally do, Pete (but I confess I had no stage crew behind the scenes).

I've taken quite a few shots at this location now, of Sadie and of me and Sadie, each time trying to find the right angle or pose or comp. (Its on the route of my evening walk with Sadie so we often stop and snap a picture or two.) The previous ones I've shot have given me various levels of satisfaction ranging from "un" to somewhat. This one goes a bit beyond somewhat for me. I quite like it.

Thanks for the compliment, Pete, and for the comparison with Crewdson.

Great shot, but how is Sadie? What was the op?
Thanks Rob, and thanks for asking about Sadie. She's doing OK post-surgery. She's walking fine and seems her chipper little self. However, we're still not sure if she has peed or pood since the surgery. Next step is to get the stitches removed (about a week and a half from now) and at that time we'll discuss the treatment options going forward. The oncologist is suggesting radiation treatment as the best option. If we decide against that the next option (the only other option) is a more powerful chemo than she has been on. Thanks again for asking, Rob.
