Seller of Windchimes

Sun chimes...

I once had to ask a neighbour to take her wind chimes inside, as they kept me awake all night. The curse of being a musician - just can't switch off. She wasn't happy!

I just love the flare with that camera again Brian. It almost captures the light in motion and is therefore a perfect complement to the chimes. I like the cross as well. :)

My immediate response: "The cross...?" And then of course it sinks in that Old Hawkeye has spotted something in my very own fotie that I myself had never seen! [doh]

My post-immediate response: "Glad you like the cross Pete. I was wondering if anyone would notice it."

lol!

Anyway, thanks Pete. The flare really is quite diabolical in this one and I'm quite happy with it. I think (or "hope" I should say) that the flare suggests the warmth of a sunny seaside afternoon.

I really love this Brian. I have a story to tell about wind chimes. We'd spotted a feral white cat in the woods opposite the lodge and tried in vain to trap it. Eight months later and it was the start of winter and some very wet and cold weather. My husband was off to work abroad for four days and I took half a day off work to do the zoo. I wanted some chimes for the garden (we have no neighbours) and I stopped off at the local garden centre. As I drove back down our lane, the white cat crossed my path. I got out to talk to it and it seemed friendly. I rushed home to get the cat basket and I was able to pick it up. That turned out to be our Purdy and she had a wonderful ten years with us. It was all down to those wind chimes :)
