Good luck Darren! I don't know if it's relevant but I remember in science lessons when we wanted to stop potential dust contamination we wiped the work area down and worked under a bunsun flame. Obviously a hot light bulb might be a better idea in your case.

Ok i have just cleaned the sensor, and WOW what an amazing difference............!!!

I took few shots of blue skies & white skies of F22 before and they where very dusty, now after the clean i took some more at F22 and no signs at all of dust bunnies,I used 3 swabs which work out at £1.50 in total :)

1 question though, Looking through the view finder i can stills see tiny darker spots, these are not appearing on the pictures so where could these be, they appear using various lens's

Thank in advance for any input

Daz

yes, definitely stay away from the mirror as it is finished with some sort of etching or a texture thus renders is unswabable, I like to use compressed air (very lightly) against the mirror before I clean the sensor since the mirror does not like being swabbed.
