Sigma DP grip thingy

Another option for a grip is the one made by Richard Franiec. I have one on my Sony RX100 (as recommended by Hamish) and it works very well. I have just ordered some for my two Merrills. This might suit you better @Rob MacKillop as they add no significant bulk.

Gee now I have to spend more on my wardrobe... Thanks Pete. That said, that Snuggie is happening is it not?

I tried out the grip together with the eyepiece thing today. Talk about a Rube Goldberg solution but it really works. More on that later.

Also that grip has a mounting plate for a trip in the portrait position that is held in with a hex head screw. I took that off. I actually am so happy with it I may order one for each DP.

I looked at those Berlin Wall photos again today. Just really fantastic!
