Very nice tones Brian and I really like the composition in the second shot. Those various lines are great and they lead nicely to he building. Shame you didn't have any chalk with you. You could have added an outline of the victim to the other chalk art around!! :)

Thanks a lot, Pete. I added that second shot to the post as an afterthought. Glad I did. (Note to self: Keep fingers well back from lens.)

Thought it mean to mention especially as I shot several portraits on the tram on Saturday and got the handle of the carrier bag I was holding in all of them!! Luckily I spotted what I had done and took them again (and they weren't too special anyway). Amateurs Eh!! :)

I knew you had to have spotted the finger and therefore were just being polite. (Hmmm. Come to think of it, I've seen no admonishments from those terrible terrible people the Dust Police in months. You OK? :p)

I'm treating them as deliberate and atmospheric artistic additions like Rob's use of the dirty window filter! I assume I'm right. ;)
Perfect, Pete. Its exactly my intent. (I go to great lengths to place the dust in exactly the optimal points in the image--its a lot of work, as you can imagine.) :D

I really like the last one Brian. There's something about that vast expanse of concrete with the sk8er boi (see... I know the lingo) and his board several yards apart. The way he's just lying there staring at it as though it was the board's fault. The addition of your shadow at the bottom just emphasises the fact someone was there to witness his humiliation. It's a bit like when one of our cats falls off the bed... :)

Thanks, Lesley. That's exactly how I felt about the last picture. Except I didn't consider the shadow of my head as a good thing. :o I'm still trying to figure out how much gets in the frame on this wide lens. Thanks again Lesley.

I reckon he pushed him Pete - anything to get the perfect shot! ;)

We're doomed... doomed I tell ya! :D
