I think that this is a really well balance image Allan. I think it is the cables across the top that does it.

I agree with Paul, very well balanced.... I think snow can be quite difficult to get the balance right.
And I think you've nailed it....

I like the overall slightly muted tone of this. I don't think it would work without the snow, its the contrast with rail tracks that creates such a strong perspective.

BTW, I think I'd have taken out this lines across the top....

Nice Allan. I actually like the lines across the top. However, you've got them dead on horizontal. Anything other than that and I might feel the same as Adrian aboot them.
