Soft-toned Autumn in Edinburgh

Princes Street Gardens, with the Nikon FE, Nikkor 50mm 1.8, and a roll of Portra 400. It was a beautiful sunny and surprisingly warm day for the time of year: today (as I write) 17th October. Nice simple shots, untampered-with in Elements. .

I miss the seasons Rob - love fall feel to this set, and the tones from the Portra

A fine set of images Rob, the gentle shades of Autumn, very good. Love the architecture of St Cuthbert's Kirk, that spire looks likes a witch's hat!

Lovely set and tones Rob. Velvia may put a little too much cheer into those images whch may ruin the psyche!
I still remeber my Nikon FE fondly, especially when I had the 24mm f2.8 on it.

Very nice. And that camera, lens and film are a great choice materials.

Velvia is too much for Edinburgh, but Portra hits the colour spot, Chris. Scots Presbyterians would say we don't deserve Velvia. Dour Portra is closer to the Scottish psyche. @Brian Moore will understand.
Am no dour ya cheeky bugger! o_O (But I do understand. ;))
