Critique Welcomed Soldering

I took this back in February in Melacca, Malaysia. Processed to B&W in LR3.



The gentleman was very skillful with fairly basic tools.

I do like shots of people making things ... Not sure what it is about them ...
What's he making? Cooking pots?

He was making a selection of baking and storage trays. There were also some pots and pans deeper in his shop.

That's really lovely. I can't refer to the image again to say what I particularly liked, but the tones, his concentration and the light on the floor behind him all struck me. Perfect timing too

Loving the tones in the B&W conversion - I think it really works for this sort of shot

Maybe a little shadow lift for his body/face?

Very nice, I really like this. Very nice tones, I really like the little bit of movement in his hand it helps to capture the moment for me.
