Great set Rense ........... The last one is a killer. Looks like a museum illustration...... Or a photo from the "Observer Book of Crrepy Crawlies" I had when I was a kid.
Bryan, macro doesn't have to cost a whole lot! The cheapest solution is a set of extension tubes in combination with a reverse adapter and a relatively cheap 50/1.7 or so from ebay. Check out this video: This Land Presents: Thomas Shahan - YouTube He's the one from whom I got my equipment ideas, and he has some very, very good examples on Flickr (check out his real name, Thomas Shahan). Another solution is to mount the reversed 50 on a fast 'normal' 135mm, or, what I used for this set, on a 90mm F2.8 macro lens. I use the Panagor 90/2.8, which is a rebranded Kiron and is also sold as Vivitar. Don't care for AF, it is useless for macro! If you want a good macro lens with some working distance, buy this Panagor/Vivitar/Kiron 90mm F2.8 on ebay. It won't let you down!
