Sometimes you have to treat your self...

Great when you get a record you've been after for ages, i just wish the ones i buy were that cheap

Cheers Pete

what's the most you have spent Davie?
this is second most for me, first was a UNKLE album - never, never, land. Don't even know why I bought it looking back it's not hard to get hold of a non collectible version. I just decided to spend £75 on a massive boxed picture disk version.

The most I've paid I've paid twice .... £500 first time for patience valentine-if you don't come on SAR and the second time for dusty Wilson-cant live without you on BRONZE.

I've been offered £1500 for a record I have because its a one off studio acetate of pneumonia by joe tex with an alternate backing :)

I assume you kept it? :)
Do you play the very expensive ones?

Yeah I kept the one off, not the other 2 though they were moved on when I got bored with them lol.

As for playing them I wouldn't buy a record I couldn't play out at a club and the most expensive tune played at my place was .. Do I Love You by Frank Wilson which at the time cost Kenny Burrell £15,000 and has since been sold for £27,000

Love a bit of Mum Hamish - nice!

Although I gave up on real records in the 80s :p
