South Coast Plaza

South Coast Plaza is a big shopping mall. The big part of it is separated from a smaller part of it by a road. They've built a pedestrian bridge over the road. This is the escalator from the bridge down to the big part of the mall.

It was late afternoon--not quite twilight--and as I was leaving the mall I thought it would be nice to get a fotie if all the lights were on. However, they were not on. But of course, by the time I got to my car and exited the parking structure, the lights were on. So I had to double-back and re-park so I could get a few shots.

Olympus XA3 and Kodak Gold 400 film.

that's very cool Brian

Yep like this a lot saw it on Flcky. Something about it makes it never ending, it contains a lot, is a kind of muddle, but contradicts that and all fits together.
Very good pick. Reminds me a bit of David Hockney quality, his early work and later work as a composite, yet better :D

Yes the more I look, the more it has and enjoy it. This would be a great one to print and have around to see over time. Even at a postcard size.

A combination of different kind of lights make this image unique, Brian. :)

You're far too kind, Julian. Thank you.
