Magical - love the way the sun has caught that low mist

The colour from the PP is very striking - what did you use to get to the final image?

Very nice scene that Peter.
It has some characteristics of HDR in the PP.
Was this shot edited in Jpeg? I'm curious how there's a 'purple' mist, almost what happens to me whenever I try to adjust exposures in jpeg. Or was this intentional? So many questions...... :D:D

Cheers Dan,

Nope, no HDR, I can't recall the exact process (shot and processed over a year ago)
Definately processed in Raw- tif - output jpeg
Fill light in lr sometimes give a slight HDR feel
I thought I had replied to Chris already! must've hit the wrong button!

The colour came out of the mist with the contrast adjustment, must be the angle of refraction from the suns rays...

Sorry , can't be more specific.

Don't have to apologies. Lol

I must admitt, that light fill in tool, and the dark works quite magical together.
And yes your right, it does give it that HDR feel to it.
I do like this shot, just intrigued how there's some Hendrix in the mist........ Purple Haze!! :D:D

I think I like the semi-obscured church better than I might a full view of it. I think the image is enhanced by the rise of the land and distance is visually amplified. The big sky really suits this, too. It's a very nice composition Peter.

Excuse Me while I kiss this guy doooo doo do di doo doo doooooo, do di dooo
Your gonna fit in just right in the circle of madness created by these two mad blokes DD & KK . Watch you don't get dragged in, you'll be mentally consumed...... Forever!! :D:D:D
Isn't that right KK??

Thats lovely mate!
I rehashed a photo once ... i think it was one of dareens ... just tinkering with the colours brought out a wonderfull green in the sky ... made me wonder whats hidden in the spectrum some of our photos !
