Thanks Pete, sadly there were very few plums this year due to the rather poor harvest. in fact it was mentioned in the Times Trivia last week as 'What won't be at the Pershore Plum Fayre this year? Answer.........many Plums.....and so right they were..

I swear blind we had a tree in our garden that year one year would alternate between purple and yellow pershore plums ...

I agree with the comments about the chrome in these B&W shots Kev. The shine really jumps out of the images.
