Square frames are back at IKEA!

For some reason, I was in IKEA today looking for square frames - remembering that we covered this a year or two ago, and Pete was lamenting the disappearance of the square frame.

Thanks Chris. It wasn't that you couldn't get them but that the real wood versions had been replaced by sawdust and plastic.

they had some decent looking metal ones when i was in there a few weeks ago, wasn't looking specifically at squares though.

Ahhh, I see.

Well I picked up the metallic ones for the office wall to do a set of 4, so can't comment on the wood content of the other models.

They looked ok though.

I liked the metal ones too - figured they'd go with any decor, look modern, and work well with some B&W prints

i bought a few when I was in ikea, they were designed for 12" records, really sturdy.... i'm getting all of the exhibition frames from there

Can't beat the price with a mat included on the RIBBA frames

I think I saw the 12" square frames you got Davie - I was tempted, but figured I'd do a mat on the prints and have the print itself at 12"

I bet I'd pay $15 just for a mat at Aaron Bros - let alone a frame as well [banghead]

Now I just need to select 4 images and get them over to the lab for printing - figured I'd do a hot rod and custom set of 4

ahh I don't have the mat/mount extra cost... I have my own bevel mount cutter
