Squares

The cloisters, Sanssouci, Potsdam, July 11. I was intrigues by the light coming from 2 directions, the squares of the tiles and the break to the doorway and used the square crop to add a bit more tension as nothing quite lines up as one might expect.

Very nice in all respects - the 'silver' PP is spot on here

Not like you to use square croppage! ;)

I like the optical illusion this creates as you scroll down, if you look at one of the tiles near the door then scoll it looks like you are zooming in to the tiles... Or is that just me???.

I am getting that effect as well. Optical illusion?

I'm now looking at this on my Laptop and "Zoom optical illusion" doesn't work on it, only on my main monitor upstairs... How strange!!!.

I've just tried and it's the same - 'zooms' on the PC on my desk in the UK office but not on my MacBook or iMac! Maybe it's the jumps caused by scrolling a mouse wheel. Actually that seems to be it as if I drag the slider up and down it is not noticeable but if I scroll with the wheel on the mouse, I do!!

Spot on Pete, I've just tried and it is the jumps caused by the "scoll wheel". It still looks good though...lol.

I have no idea what you lot are on about with this zooming effect!
Love the photo though!
Really nice softness to the light, and great pp!

Sorry I've not been around much, I went to an alternative living Festival and it's taken me a little while to get back into the real world!
