Called in to see a very good friend of mine today for a coffee and took the opportunity to pop a few shots off of him working. Sadly no fires or bashing going on today

Different PP for each of the ports as trying to see which works best.

Thanks for looking

Liking #3 with the industrial vignette effect - good idea!

no fires? crap.

#1 and #3 are my favorites, 1 for the shallow dof and cool looking subject and 3 for the framing.

for pp i'd probably pick #2 or #4. #4 has a grittier feel that goes along with the subject matter, but it looks dark and red on my monitor (probably the screen's fault not yours, i'm at work in front of 6 uncalibrated monitors with 6 different color issues), #2 is brighter, but doesn't look as gritty on the crap screens.

Thanks both, have been promised fires :) more to come I'm sure....I could spend days here especially when it's fired up, in fact have been promised a let go with the fires and hammers myself, it's been a long time since I bashed any metal so looking forward to that too :)

Some good shots there! I'd be tempted to tonemap them a bit - not too much - just enough to give them a gritty industrial edge :)
