Is there a guide on the forum on how to make presets in lightroom?

It is ... thank you, pure fluke, i just applied it to another on in the same set and that was the result ...

In the left hand column in lightroom there is a "presets" tab, when you have applied the settings you like to a photo just click the add button, give it a name, done!
It will then appear in the list...
If you want to save or add any presets just right click on the list there is options there
