Well they look correctly exposed ... Like you say, probably the processing!

Exposure was bang on - but the scans lacked contrast - easily tweaked.

Wonder set and I too like the last the best, you no doubt saved the best to last, just like the song. I seems that the negatives had the information on them so maybe it was just a quirk of the scanner. No matter how much auto you tun off on a scanner I am not convinced that the software stops performing some "useful" adjustments.
