Yep - we're bin bonkers here!

Brown = glass
Green = garden and food waste
Blue = paper and cardboard
Grey = everything else

really?? that's a bit overkill, lol. we just have two, one for trash and one for recyclables. they sort the recyclables at the sorting facility. do you have one truck that carries it all or do they bring around a bunch of different trash trucks?

A different truck for each bin - but each bin only get's emptied every two weeks other than the green in winter which is every 4 weeks. I think that's it - I get confused. I just look which ones everyone else has put out and copy LOL!

Some of our motors have split bodies. That means one side takes the recycling (plastic, paper, cardboard) and the other side takes the glass all on the same motor without mixing it.

ours is split. one trash day each week, two bins. makes life easy. dave, don't know how you keep track of all of that, i'd have the wrong stuff in each bin and the wrong bin out on the wrong week.
