I don't know why I never thought of Hastings as a seaside town, but of course it is. Looks like a nice evening, Dave.

Hastings still has a small fishing industry, good place for fish and chips. Was a very nice bright but chilly winter afternoon.

Yes, Peter, I walked up the East hill (note, walked, I did not use the lift), had a wander round there. Then the Old Town, then up the West hill to the castle, then to St Leonards. A couple of guys I know were playing an early evening set in the Gecko.

A very windy town I must say, it almost blew me over to France one day, and back
