Great skies Stan, liking the smiley reflection in the bridge shot and the power lines. I used to try to avoid them and pylons like the plagues but now I feel they are as much of the scene as the trees and field and this shows them off nicely set against a superb sky.

It was Sunday when we were there. The Jolly Tar? We have had many a good feed and pint of Guinness in there.

Funny you should say about pylons and stuff. I am getting to like such things in photos, and find myself taking shots of industrial settings more and more. I used to dislike such things, but now wish I'd taken shots of factories and suchlike when younger, most of which are gone today.

Dont make the mistake of going for the leek branch (although for the half days cruise the ends not to bad) the best part is from Cheddleton down to Froghall
