Critique Welcomed Surf Camp

Snapped while cycling along the bike path at Bolsa Chica State Beach, in Huntington Beach, California. (These chaps were on my left as I cycled in a southerly direction. The shadow of my helmeted head, lower right.)

Superheadz toy camera with Kodak Tri-X 400 that I processed in Rodinal.

Quite the cool kid eh Brian, next it'll be on the skate board;) A better image I could not have got if I'd tried.
I used to to ride a skate board often when I was a kid. Hadn't done in it 45 years until about 6 months ago when I discovered an abandoned skate board while walking Sadie. So I thought, let me have a wee shot on this skate board. Nearly killed myself! From that point on I resolved that self-powered commuting would be limited to bikes or Shank's Mare.

Thanks, Julian. :)

That made me smile Brian, what goes on in our heads as we get older becomes something completely fanciful and does not correspond to our actual capabilities, as you say , dangerous to act upon these idea and very humbling as well.

Very serious dudes there, Brian. I think surfing would be the last thing I would ever volunteer to do. Good shot.
It's not one of my top choices for recreation either, Rob. Thanks for the comments.

That's a very square haircut! And some of those guys look like they might be a bit ore buoyant that the average surfer. Super grab-shot though.
Thanks, Pete. You're absolutely right. Most surfers that I see around Southern California are of a rather slimmer variety. The seated smoker in this image looks more like your average corpulant hunter who should be hiding in a blind ready to ambush an animal.
