Beautiful shot Laurie......i seen this on flickr i think, still fabulous shot of the family, especially with the reflections as well.

Yeah, that's a beauty Laurie!
As Darren says the reflections really make it, but the exposure is also absolutely spot on with the darkness to water and background!

Nice one Laurie:D.

Wow, that's a beautiful capture Laurie - love the dark water and subtle reflections of the far bank, they really set off the subjects.

Looks super sharp - which lens were you using?

Used to have swans at Poly, living near the student union building - best to stay away when the dad's get hissy!

I have had the filter for about two years and the day I visited the park when I took this image I thought I had put on my ND filter only when I went to change it after to do some landscape shots I realised I had used the glimmerglass, when I uploaded them to pc after getting home I quite liked what it had done, so I have used it a couple of times since and it seems to work ok on certain subjects, it also works pretty well on waterfalls too

The glimmerglass #3 and #4 I have they tend to soften and diffuse dark areas but seem to work on whites by giving them a glow if that makes any sense lol

Cheers ... I couldn't seem to find decent info!

Does anyone know what filter (if it is a filter) that creates those sort if pillars of flare that you see in "cool" tv shows and advertising a lot at the mo... It's usually blue... ...
