The man in the hat
Sydney is really a beautiful city. I hope some of these pictures can do this wonderful city justice. Thanks for looking.

#1, dude, the opera house is behind you!

#3, thought this point of view is a bit saucy and unusual (and no, I was not cawing on the floor like a pervert, this was shot "from the hip" with the camera set on the floor ;)).

Thanks Brodie, it was a great day, buzzing street, joyful atmosphere, just as I remembered all these years ago :).

However, it wasn't quite the Aussie summer I remembered, I think we only had 1.5 sunny days during our 10 day visit, guess we probably have accidentally brought the London weather with us ;).

We've been ripped off this summer, Jim! SOOOOO MUCH RAIN!!!!
It's summer weather again now but for a few weeks it was rain rain and more rain. I was going insane! haha.
Glad you had a good time though :)

Great series Jim. My favourites are the legs and the first shot. The thing in it that draws mey eye the most though are the checked trousers on the lady on the steps. Almost an optical illusion going on there I find. I like the flags a lot too and like the choice of mono over colour - inspired!

Thanks Brian, and Pete :).

The flag pic is also one of my favourites. I attempted to signify the purpose of the celebration by making the Aussie flags the main subjects, and used the blurred harbour bridge in the background to provide a strong hint of the locality of this image. I like how this one worked out.

Ah, great shots, Jim! It appears that all the cool people are heading to Sydney this season. It's all the rage! Look forward to seeing more!
