THANK YOU Julian!!!

I owe Julian a enormous debt of gratitude for being patient enough to walk me through how to do B/W conversions in SPP yesterday AM. I am very techno-phobic. I had become increasingly frustrated trying to deal with SPP. However, Julian finally made the dim bulb in my cranial cavity turn on.

Anyway, I had go out and photograph bluebonnets this AM for the ladies at work. I took a couple of photos that weren't bluebonnets. The DP3. Oddly enough bluebonnets photograph better on cloudy day. The bluebonnet photos turned out better than these. But....I did manage to convert them in SPP to B/W. I do think you are better off using LR for exposure adjustments except the X3 Fill Light adjustment in SPP which is really nice and that totally cool color wheel.

Anyway THANKS SO MUCH for all your help Julian!!!!!

As I said Steve, really no need for thanks, in the end you figured what was wrong with the software.
Like the set, the last has a lot of good attributes obtaining to the composition, which makes it sit very well as an image.
From the camera's setting it appears as if the light was very good, I think you will be surprised when you need to use high iso and how that blue channel captures the light.
