That'll Be A Dollar Ma'am!

Walking along the pier last week I spied a bicycle taxi heading my way. Its occupants, several boys, were occupying themselves by inviting passers-by to give them a "high five." They had no takers while I was watching so when they got to me, and me being a good sport, I accepted the invitation. "That'll be a dollar, ma'am!" said the kid!

Here you see I captured an image of the event with my 7D.

I was watching from above via my radio-controlled gull Brian - I see you managed to capture it in frame! ;)

Kids today - we could't afford to go on bike taxi rides in my day and annoy the locals - we had to do that on foot, and be quick about it!

Love the look of the lady in red :)

I would suggest getting some frame captures from gull cam and posting them Chris ... It's always good to get a second perspective!

I too like the woman in red ... Moody old Mary by the looks of it!

Excellent Brian. I like the way all the other pedestrians are looking at the action. And it you hadn't give us the back story it would really not be clear what was going. I like that about it. There a nicely wistful expression on the one lad's face and and more direct and 'knowing' on on the other's. Really adds to the shot.

The lads spotted me getting their picture, Pete, and I think this accounts four the looks on the two lads' faces. They knew they had been had. Thanks for the comments, Pete!
