The Abandoned Cart

In the gardens of Kentwell Hall I found this old cart that had just been left to rot away. It must have been there for many years. By the sounds of it I'm not the only one who finds decay interesting which is a comfort as my family just look at me oddly and say things like "why are you taking pictures of that old thing". How many times I've resisted the urge to reposte with "don't talk about your mother like that" but long experince has told me it doesn't go well for me when that happens.

I tried to do something inspired by Pete's PP he does in Nik Efex with the orton / beauty glow over the top of an image with punched texture. I haven't made it that far yet but got to here and quite liked the result.

That's nice Paul, I like it. I like the way the eye is drawn up to the wheel and hub and that the background, being blown out, doesn't draw you further. The dappled light on the sides is great also.
